Recently, Patty Jenkins, revealed that she is planning to exit the franchise after the release of the third part. She said that she is going to put in everything in the next film in a conversation with Geek. Jenkins explained how ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ gave her the opportunity to try new things that she did not get in the earlier part. She said that she was very happy to portray the origin story of Wonder Woman to the fans. It was like explaining her birth but her true capabilities have not been revealed yet. Jenkins even said that there is much more to Wonder Woman than her strength as being a Goddess she tries to help humanity while fighting her internal struggle.
She concluded saying that the next part will be her last film for the franchise so she’ll be putting everything in it. Now, this announcement was quite a shock for the fans but also ignited a sense of excitement amongst them as it teased them with the third part even before the second is released. ‘Wonder Woman 1984′ is DC Comics’ upcoming superhero movie based on the character of Wonder Woman. It is a sequel to the movie ‘Wonder Woman’ released in 2017. The movie is the ninth installment of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe). It shows the journey and the battles of Diana Prince (played by Gal Gadot) who is known as Wonder Woman.

The release date for Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled for 2nd October 2020 after being postponed from 14th August 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. But, the viewers in Belgium will be getting lucky as the film will be released there on 14th August only.
