US President Donald Trump and his conspiracy theories go hand-in-hand. Trump is known for coming up with weird statements of his own even before he became the President. On Tuesday, Trump took to his Twitter tweeting that Osama Bin Laden is still alive and a body double was killed during the mission by SEAL Team Six. He further stated that Joe Bidden and Barack Obama would have also killed everyone from the mission team so that the truth is not revealed calling it Obama’s Trophy kill. Trump has claimed many events without any form of evidence available.
Why did President Donald Trump make such a statement?
His campaign does not seem to be going on the right path. He also claimed saying that he has killed bigger names but did not end up publicizing it to the world. Some names mentioned were Qasem Soleimani who recently died earlier this year. He was assassinated after a US Drone strike at Baghdad. Iran viewed him as a hero but in 2011 the United States had declared him as a terrorist after which he was executed. Al-Baghdadi was also a name on the list who is the terrorist leader from Iraq. With the majority of votes being seen in the favor of Joe Bidden, Trump is not hesitating to try anything to win over the citizens.
How did the media react to the President’s statements?
After the conspiracy theory came up, Robert O’Neill came forward to talk about it. Robert O’Neill is a former navy seal who shot Osama Bin Laden in the 2011 raid. He called out on the President to stop creating fake news in order to gain votes. Trump also said that Obama had paid Iran more than $100 billion to kill the original seal officers who were a part of the mission. Documents came out referring to the amount paid to Iran was about a Nuclear deal. Robert O’Neill tweeted saying that he is thankful for Mr. Barack Obama for guiding and allowing them to carry out such tasks.
After the incident, Savannah Guthrie, the NBC News reporter questioned Trump during Town Hall. She asked him why had he lied to everyone. Trump ended up saying that it was a retweet and he is not responsible for it but gave it in the hands of the viewers to decide. She fired back saying that he is the President and not a crazy person who ends up retweeting such statements. His answers did not come as a surprise but such statements have started getting on people’s nerves.
President Trump on retweeting conspiracy that Biden had Seal Team 6 killed to cover up fact that Osama bin Laden is alive: "I know nothing about it. That was a retweet. That was an opinion of somebody. That was a retweet. I'll put it out there. People can decide for themselves."

Kind of hard for Trump to win when his 4 main topics are:
4. Conspiracy theory that Osama bin Ladin is alive

On 2nd May, 2011 Bin Laden was killed by the US Special Forces after they raided his house in Pakistan. During the mission, more than 2000 people were killed and more than 25,000 were injured. This is considered to be one of the boldest moves taken by a country under Barack Obama’s leadership. After he was killed, his DNA was identified and then the body was buried in the sea. Al-Qaeda has vowed to take revenge for his death.
