The American teen comedy movie ‘She’s All That’ which was directed by Robert Iscove is coming with a remake. The remake will be titled ‘He’s All That’ and will be directed by Mark Waters. In September 2020, the announcement was made and R. Lee Fleming Jr. will be the screenwriter. There will surely be modifications in the 2020 version and surprisingly the TikTok star Addison Rae has been cast in one of the lead roles. The remake will be sticking to the same theme but from a girl’s point of view. Addison will be playing the role of a popular girl similar to that of Freddie Prinze Jr. from the original version. This movie will be about turning a nerdy boy to a popular one who ends up being the prom king.

After the casting of Addison Rae was announced, there have been mixed reactions from the fans all across the world. Addison Rae started as a TikTok star but has gained a huge fan following with around 27.4 million followers on Instagram. She is also the co-founder of ‘Item Beauty’ and is the first TikTok star to land a major role in a film. According to Waters, Addison fits in the role perfectly. The 19-year old moved to Los Angeles after gaining immense popularity through TikTok.
Mark Waters who is known for directing ‘Freaky Friday’ and ‘Mean Girls’ has a vision about the character and the actors playing them. As Addison has no prior experience in acting, people are worried that casting a popular personality does not imply good acting skills. They are upset as the movie might be ruined due to this. Many of her fans are supporting her but many have even objected to make a remake of their childhood classic. TikTok has not been appreciated by people in many countries and casting one will surely have its cons. The sole reason is that there are many trained and skilled actors available to play the character.

Even though the movie has an IMDb rating of 5.9/10, the film is loved by many teenagers.
