Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known by the stage name of YoungBoy Never Broke Again was arrested on 28th September, 2020 for manufacturing and distributing drugs. 16 people were arrested and YoungBoy was one of them. Around $79,000 cash and 14 guns were found with them when investigated. The police stated that on Monday evening they received an anonymous phone call where the drugs and guns information was shared with them. Many had fled the scene and they could only grab 16 of who were later brought in for questioning. The guns and the weapons were either stolen or traded illegally.
After this incident, the police publicly thanked the tipper for passing on the information. They said it was difficult for them to track down all of them alone. When any public sees any such kind of an event, they should inform the authorities so that they can take legal action against them. This is a classic case of citizens getting involved. He got arrested in Louisiana. He was sent to jail for a week and now his case is being discussed in the court. James Manasseh, who is the rapper’s attorney stated that he is not guilty of any kind of charges that he is being charged with. Nothing was found personally on him and there is nothing in the report that can cause trouble to the Rapper.

In 2016, he was charged with attempt to murder when he jumped out of his vehicle and then started firing guns on a random group of people. He pleaded guilty and was jailed for 9 months. In 2018, he was charged with kidnapping and assault which was proved by the surveillance camera near the place of the event. He had to pay a fine of $75,000 to get a bail. After the firing incident when he was on probation, he and his girlfriend killed an innocent man.

He was sent to a detention center for robbery during which his grandmother passed away. From then, he went on to stay in Baton Rouge after which the criminal activities began.
