Yes, news of the newest season of Rainbow Six was officially released and it includes Sam Fisher.
Sam Fisher, from Splinter Cell, is joining Rainbow Six Siege for Year 5 Season 3 Operation: Shadow Legacy. As a medium speed, medium armor shooter, Sam Fisher will be codenamed as “Zero” in this brand new season of Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy.
This season includes many brand new features, from what we know as Ubisoft Montreal launched its first looks. Some of the new and updated features include more scope attachment options, improving accessibility, and reinforcement pool. The season also introduces brand new weapons SC-3000K and 5.7 USG and Hard Breach Charge will be launched as the latest equipment.
New Operator: Sam Fisher As “Zero”
The Ubisoft team has maintained absolute secrecy on details regarding their new Operator, Sam Fisher. This had previously made way for much speculation and rumors. Now, thanks to the recent unveiling, we have authentic information regarding Zero.
The new Operator will carry the SC-3000K assault rifle, the new feature introduced in the Shadow Legacy. Fisher will also have the assistance of the MP7 primary and 5.7 USG handgun which are optional. It is also obvious that fans of the Splinter Cell will find a whole range of old titles to cherish. But then, who forgets those night vision goggles?
Rainbow Six Siege: Map Rework
Though the map Rework was initially meant to be skyscrapers, it was redesigned at the last moment. Chalet has some serious Rework done with the map, but the usual vertical viewing modes remain unchanged. The whole setting has undergone a renovation, and that includes the office. The Shadow Legacy includes a whole range of new places for players to explore.
The Hard Breach Charge would be one of the coolest new equipment added in this season. It is not much different from the normal charge. This charge is capable of penetrating reinforced surfaces too. But these need to be used carefully, as they can detonate automatically so they might blow up at the wrong time if you are not careful.
Other New Features
One of the best improvements included in the season would be that now defenders shall share a common collection of ten reinforcements instead of having two each. This is expected to get the game to be much more thrilling. Map bans are also introduced. This will mean that players can eliminate a maximum of two out of three maps.
When it comes to watching your game replay, the new improvements will allow you to watch your latest 12 missions through Match Replay. It is also rumored that the season comes with a full spectator mode, though it is not yet confirmed. A remarkable feature is also included for players with color blindness and a few other visual impairments. It provides more options to make the game more easily accessible for such players.
Unfortunately, the Unisoft team has once again maintained complete secrecy regarding the release date. But of course, fans are expecting a release on September 11 as season 3 of the previous two years we’re launched on that date.
