Netflix’s new teenage drama Outer Banks is frequently winning hearts with its amazing storyline and amazing characters. Outer Banks came out in April 2020 and the fans are already wondering about season 2. Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke are the creators of the show. Due to the high demand and fandom, the show was renewed back in June for season 2.

Outer Banks Season 2 – Release Date And Production Update
As we already mentioned, the show got a green signal back in June for season 2. The cast of the team also posted the good news on their social media.
The production for season 2 was set to start at the end of August 2020. Although a rumor claims that the filming has begun on August 31, 2020. The filming will take place in Charleston, South Carolina, just like season 1. Even though many projects are still on halt in the US, Outer Banks will be continuing with the filming. The filming will be done under strict restrictions as mentioned by the team.
We expect season 2 to appear in April 2021 if nothing gets in between. And, we hope the condition of the world gets better soon. So, we can experience our favorite shows once again.
What’s the plot for New Season
The series gets its name as it is filmed on the Outer Banks. The show revolves around the story of four friends who embark on a journey after one of them’s father goes missing. The four friends call themselves ‘Pogues’ and they are investing the disappearance of Josh’s father. Altogether, the four friends are looking for a treasure. But, they are facing some trouble. I mean it can not be easy to find a treasure.
So, there is another group in the show called, “Krooks” who are in the way of “Pogues”. They do not want the “Pogues” to find the treasure and so they create problems for the latter.
As for the cats, we expect all the major characters from season 1 to return back. Chase Stokes plays John B., Madelyn Cline plays Sarah Cameron, Rudy Pankow portrays JJ, and Madison Bailey plays Kiara. The show also stars Jonathan Davis as Pope and Austin North as Topper.
