On 8th November 2020, the production of the upcoming movie ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ announced that they have finally wrapped up the activities of the movie. Colin Trevorrow, the director of the movie confirmed the news. He also said that now they are looking for a perfect release date. The movie is a sequel to ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ that Universal Pictures released in 2018. It is the third movie of the “Jurassic World” series and the sixth part of the “Jurassic Park” franchise. When the original movie was released, at that point they decided that they will be having several parts to it.
In 2015, the production of this movie began with the casting and in 2016, the production confirmed the movie. The original movie portrayed a story of theme park activities going wrong with dinosaurs coming back to life. However, this film was shot in California which means the location will be an island. Chris Pratt gives a glimpse saying that the plot will revolve around an island blowing up and all the animals roaming around. The characters are trying to get the animals back in a cage which is not possible. We will have to wait to find out what will happen as we do not have a trailer yet. But, one thing that we can vouch for is that it will surely be interesting.
Everything you need to know about the upcoming part of ‘Jurassic World’:
The movie stars Mamoudou Athie, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Haze, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dichen Lachman, Sam Neill, Daniella Pineda, Chris Pratt, Campbell Scott, Isabella Sermon, and more. As per sources, it is going to release in 2022. They had to put a stop to the filming in the month of March due to COVID-19 after which there was a delay. It was also difficult for the visuals team to work on designing. Originally, Universal Pictures was going to release the movie on 11th June 2021 but later on, they postponed it to 6th October 2020. Unfortunately, theatrical release was difficult because of which it has been postponed again. Now, the movie is scheduled to release on 10th June 2022 with Universal Pictures dealing with the distribution.

Talking about the non-human characters, the production is taking help from expert paleontologists. They have suggested various scenes in order to maintain the detail and scientific accuracy. With animatronics, it has become easier for them to portray dinosaurs as compared to the earlier versions. The “Fallen Kingdom” was horror-suspense whereas “Dominion” will be a scientific thriller. Emily Carmichael, who co-wrote the movie shared an update on how fun it was for them to work on it, and saying goodbye to something was really hard.
People consider it to be one of the best movies and the production is expecting commercial success owing to that. ‘Jurassic Park’ is in the billion clubs globally. The last 5 movies have helped them to generate a revenue of more than $5 billion. The franchise has always made sure that they come up with something new every time because they want the audience to enjoy it. Many production houses announced numerous movies this week. However, we will have to wait a little longer to get a glimpse of the dinosaurs on the big screen.
