BTS is back with a bang: Breaks Records

BTS returns with a bang as they break records with their new song 'Dynamite'.

On Friday, BTS released their new single ‘Dynamite’ and it has broken records to become the most viewed video in 24 hours on YouTube. After its release, the song has gained an amazing amount of 98.3 million views breaking the record of Blackpink’s ‘How You Like That’ with 86.3 million views. The video was trending worldwide and when the song was live-streamed, it had more than 3 million viewers. BTS has an extraordinary fan base known as ARMY who are constantly streaming and working to achieve a certain goal in terms of views. This is not the first time BTS has broken a record. In 2019, their single ‘Boy With Luv’ gained 74.6 million views in a day.

BTS has been gaining popularity worldwide and is the only K-pop group to hit such a level of global dominance. It has been seven years since the group has debuted and ‘Dynamite’ is their first song entirely in English. Their previous works were a mix of Korean and English. Although the group did not plan this, after creating the song they decided to release the song in English as a gift to the international fans. The song gives out a retro-vibe with peppy tunes. Even the music videos include candy colors and ice-cream as designed props to make the song more cheerful and fun.
