Alive a must watch Zombie Korean film – Netflix Original

We have news that will enlighten all the Korean drama or movie followers out there. Alive (titled initially as ‘Saraitda’), a 2020 South Korean film, is finally coming to Netflix. I can only imagine how many individuals out there were not only rooting for this movie but also deeply awaiting for this zombie movie to feature on Netflix. This movie is directed by Cho II-Hyung is actually based on the script of Alone, 2019.

The movie was initially released in South Korea on 24th June 2020 while being produced by Eugene Lee, Saemi Kim, and Saerom Kim.

It was a box office hit as it accumulated the US $13.4 million while showcasing its screenplay by Cho Il-Hyung and Matt Naylor (also known for his work in American documentary series Small Business Revolution: Main Street). Alive is 99 mins (1 hour and 39 minutes) minutes long which displays the art of cinematography by Won-ho Son.

Lotte Entertainment (which is a subsidiary of Lotte Corporation) as its major distributor, the movie has been produced by ZIP Cinema and Perspective Pictures.

The setting of the movie is chiefly the time of zombie annihilation and what happens as a result of that. It is a story mainly of one character who manages the cataclysm and his struggles during the same. This survivor who is a gamer is forced to live al by himself in a flat. During his stay, he comes across all kinds of zombies trying their best to come inside and it is put forth before us as to how does he manage it all. This makes the film special not only Korean film enthusiasts but even those who follow upon zombie attack movies.

When will the ‘Alive’ come out and who are the cast members in it?

‘Alive’ is all set to step its foot on Netflix on 8th September 2020. Hence, since it already out on Netflix, one can easily avail it whenever one wants to. The characters in this movie mainly are Yoo Ah-in playing Oh Joon-woo who is the gamer Joon-woo, Park Shin-Hye playing the role of Kim Yoo-bin is seen as helping the gamer Joon-woo, Lee Hyun-wook playing the character of Lee Sang-Chul who in spite of being infected through the zombies is allowed inside the house by Joon-woo, Oh Hye-won who is a policewoman is actually killed by the infected, Jeon Bae-soo seen as a masked man who plays an essential role of saving the lives of not only Joon-woo but also Yoo-bin, Lee Chae-Kyung is a zombified wife of the masked man who actually wants to feed upon his wife.
