What to expect from the latest season of the American family drama?
Season 2 ended with a truck hitting Eddie and the driver calling 911 for help. Eddie is taken to the hospital where they come to know that he is paralyzed. The adoption center offers Rome and Regina a newborn after they lost a baby boy whose birth mother planned on aborting him. The new season will also be exploring Gary and Maggie’s romance along with Eddie’s recovery journey. Season 3 will also show one of them getting infected by COVID-19 and how difficult things become. Nash stated that because of the pandemic they had to rewrite some episodes. They didn’t want to miss the chance of showing the reasons that made 2020 hard for everyone.
The production has mentioned that the third season is more on the emotional side. In addition to that, they have addressed topics such as depression and breast cancer more in detail. They have not given more details as they don’t want the audience to predict what can happen. Nash mentioned in an interview that something tragic might happen to someone in the circle. He has also mentioned earlier that they didn’t want to focus on a single storyline. Instead, they wanted to portray every character’s individual story. We will have to wait to find out how the group survives through the thicks and thins. A lot will be explored about their friendship and it is going to be a very teary season. It is available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Voot.
