The Mariachi’s Hat Blog is part of the new website deditated to the tradition and music of the mexican Mariachi’s.

Serenata Mariachi was born because I was looking for a Mariachi band to play for a serenata for my fiance but I could not easily find any information about groups available in my area.

I looked at many sites on the Internet, white pages, yellow pages, and t the end I was only able to find a local Mariachi through a referral, but with the major concern of not really knowing anything about them, having seen them perform or sing.  It was a blind choice for a very special event, the serenata for my future wife; one of those events that you don’t want to be gambling with.  So I took a leap of faith with them, the only Mariachi in my area I knew about, hoping for the best, and at the end…  it was the best Serenata Mariachi I could have expected.  These guys were amazing, everybody was singing to their songs, and the bride was the happiest I had seen them in a long time.  I’ll tell more about this in another post later.

While going through the stress of finding the best Serenata Mariachi for my fiance, I thought that it was incredibly unfair that the Mariachis in America didn’t have a place to promote themselves and to establish a closer relationship with their fans and also potential customers (like me at that time);  I then decided to change that situation. I committed myself to create the best, most modern, and most up to date directory of Mariachi groups in the United States.  I will focus my efforts in making this site aesthetically appealing, easy to use, and have the most complete information about Mariachis in America.

In order to honor the Mariachis that have brought so much joy to many couples,  friends, wives, lovers, and families; I invite you to help me make this site the best Mariachi site ever.

You can help by letting us know about Mariachi concerts, giving us recommendations about the best Mariachi groups in your town, sharing stories involving Mariachis.  Have you given a serenata Mariachi?

If you have any contribution, I will feature it in the blog.  This is a work in progress so any feedback will be appreciated and will be taken into consideration right away.

I would love to hear what you think about SerenataMariachi.com.
