Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Day Shift is an action comedy movie but with a twist, Vampires. The movie was not a theatrical release even though all the cinemas and big screens around the world have been up and running for a while now. The movie was released on Netflix on 12th August. This Netflix original was a new addition to the highly appreciated zombie-vampire genre. With a massive budget of 100 million dollars, the movie is expected to deliver a marvelous performance. The Plot of the Movie
Day Shift follows the story of a common blue-collar employee, Bud Jablonski, who works as a pool cleaner at San Fernando Valley. Bud dreams of only one thing, to provide a good lifestyle for his daughter. Pool cleaner by the day, Bud is certainly a prestigious member of an international union that slays vampires by night. The Union members keep their identities disclosed and function only at nighttime to hunt and kill the vampires. Some might do it for the betterment of the neighborhood, while others do it for leisure.

This Netflix original is a fest of talented and world-renowned artists. From core acting veterans to dope rappers and newbies, the movie will be a rollercoaster of acting masterpieces. Some of the main character leads are:
1. Jamie Foxx as Bud Jablonski
Acting veteran Jamie Foxx will be starring in this vampire slayer Netflix featurette as a loving dad and a hard worker pool cleaner. But more importantly, he is said to be the most brutal vampire bounty hunter. Foxx’s character Bud Jablonski is sort of a lone wolf when it comes to the annihilation of the vampires. He does not like to play by the rules people end up dead that way, according to him. Jamie Foxx is known for his brilliance in numerous blockbusters. Django in Django Unchained, Electro in The Spiderman movies, Ray in Ray Charles, and Bats in Baby Drivers are some of his masterpiece performances over the years.
2. Dave Franco as Seth
Dave Franco is a young dashing superstar with a bright future ahead of him. In Day Shift, Dave Franco portrayed the role of Seth, who is just another common cubicle worker. With low self-esteem and charm, Seth is assigned as the overseer of Bud Jablonski by the union. Although, Seth ends up as his sidekick partner in crime in bludgeoning the vampires. Dave Franco is mostly known for his ecstatic role of Jack Wilder in the Now You See Me series, where he played one of the magicians among the four horsemen. He also played a short role in 6 Underground as the skillful driver codenamed Six.
3. Snoop Dogg as Big John Elliott
Legendary Rapper Snoop Dog shocked everyone with his announcement of enacting the role of Big John Elliott in Day Shift. Big John is the celebrated vampire hunter and an old pal of Bud. Big John is the one who brings Bud back into the Union in the hope of some action.
