Addicted Universe: Characters
Lily and Lo are addicts who have been pretending to be in a fake relationship. Nobody around them knows what they are going through. Even the people who think they know these two only know what they show to them. They have been hiding for so long, but when they unexpectedly make real friends, their life changes in so many ways that none of them would have imagined.
This series has become one of the most famous universes amongst readers. All these characters, their struggles, their pain, their love, their friendship, and the bond between the sisters, everything is so detailed and perfectly woven together that it still makes us emotional.

Lily taught us that you can be an addict, but you can still be shy and the real version of yourself. She was shy, a fan girl, and even though she didn’t have faith in herself, we all knew she was stronger than anyone. We love her wampa hats and when she fakes to be stern and the way she nods her head to herself. She wasn’t fearless or reckless like others, but she would still fight you when it came to her loved ones.

Loren Hale, we love and adore him, even when he is petty, but we would really like to know what “sharpens his cheekbones” looks like on him. He has been through so much with his dad and his addiction, and to see him standing tall, at 50, over twenty-two books later, still seems surreal. He loves his brother, his sister, and his friends. He doesn’t mind being the bad guy and cares for Lily and her sisters more than anyone could do. Forgiveness can be tough, but Lo forgiving anybody who crossed him is a miracle that will leave you feeling proud of him.

Rose is a boss lady who proves that women can be intelligent, smart, and pretty all at once. She doesn’t bow to no one. She started her own business and has become so powerful; she inspires several readers and along with us daily. We love to see her sprouting facts, fighting with Lo, and talking ‘nerd’ with her husband, but if anything, what stands out amongst her countless qualities is how she would leave everything and everyone for her sisters. She has always loved them and protected them. So even if you don’t like her, you can’t help but love her.

Daisy is sunshine, and it was physically hurtful and emotionally damaging to see her endure so much pain that wasn’t deserved. She didn’t do anything wrong, yet she had to hide. Controlled by her mother, the people who didn’t care about the fact that they were humans too, the way she couldn’t just breathe was difficult. But she wouldn’t be Daisy if she didn’t surprise us with her love and her big heart. She is such a genuine soul; she blinds us with her passion for the good in the world. Also, her love for theories and adventures is something that makes us love her more.

Ryke and Connor love their girls and Lo to the point that they would take a bullet for him. These guys didn’t have to help him. After all, what does it matter to them if another guy gets addicted to alcohol? But they did, they cared, and they showed that people can love them, flaws and all. They came into Lily and Lo’s life by chance, but it was their choice to stay there forever.

It seems that whatever we say, we will always fall short of words. This series is a reminder of how powerful love between friends, family, and strangers can be. The friends you make, they help you become who you are. Lily and Lo, Rose and Connor, Daisy and Ryke wouldn’t be who they were without each of them. In the end, if we managed to convince you to give these series a chance, then we would rest happily knowing you trusted us for this. We assure you these characters will never leave you, once you find them.
